Somero Uganda believes in the power of advocacy and global learning to create meaningful change. Through our Community Development & Global Learning program, we engage in child rights advocacy, gender equality campaigns, and social justice initiatives. We work closely with local and international partners to amplify the voices of children and young women, ensuring their rights are protected and upheld.
One of our key initiatives is raising awareness about child labor and exploitation. We conduct community dialogues, organize public campaigns, and train local leaders on child protection policies. Our child rights clubs, established in schools and communities, empower young people to advocate for themselves and their peers.
Additionally, we facilitate global learning opportunities through international exchange programs, mentorship, and cross-cultural collaborations. By connecting Ugandan youth with global networks, we expand their perspectives and provide them with valuable skills and knowledge to become leaders in their communities.
