Joining Forces for Africa (JOFA) (2021-2023)

The JOFA project aimed at reducing violence, abuse, exploitation, and neglect of children and adolescents during and after the COVID-19 crisis. Implemented as part of a consortium led by Terre des Hommes, the project strengthened child protection systems and engaged families, communities, and institutions to raise awareness and enhance their capacity in safeguarding children.

Key approaches included child-friendly accountability, child-led initiatives, and community-based campaigns, ensuring that children’s voices were heard in matters concerning their safety and rights​
